G'day Steve,

I'm quite intrigued, how did you know it's an ex army?

Hi Jason, without seeing more pics (other than the one still up) it's only a guess by the placement of the tarp rope tie points.

Jeez Steve, You have a sharp eye, your knowledge of these cars takes it to the another level.

Kinda wish I new if it was an ex army one when it was first posted as an ex army ute restored back into its army uniform would have looked pretty cool in my shed.

Still, I've got enough to keep me busy with the ones I already have.

Thanks Jason, I have learnt a lot from this forum and still learning every day!

What's with the colour on those two utes?

Did the army 'de-armyfy' them by painting them all dark metallic blue before they sold them or something?

 :D

I believe the Army sold them in Army colours. New owners or dealers painted them.

Maybe these two were bought by the same dealer.

Could well be. I purchased my Metallic Blue painted Army ute from Melbourne.

Be interesting to see if this ute surfaces and is in fact an Army ute.
