As many of you may be able to tell from my questions on the site I have limited experience with restoring cars, I love it, but my background is not mechanics, engineering, welding or auto electricle etc.
My questions may sound basic to some but not to others, your help is appreciated.

Are drop down axles legal?
What are the pro's and con's?
Do they change handling?
Is $900 alot to pay for them?
On my van I am running a HR front end with front mounted steering and HZ disc brakes and 15' rims

Drop spindles are legal , and are probably one of the best items to come out of CRS , I think theres a mob called Stubtech making them now ...

I have them fitted to my FB. I paid $550 several years ago (second hand).

FYI - STUBTECH sell all holden drop spindles for $775 including enginering certificate.

Is anyone running 215 x 65 (or 60) x 15 tyres on the front of ther FB EK.
Would the HZ spindles on a HR front end move the wheel track out by about an inch, there for would 215 tyres be to big.
Advice before I purchase.

I would say 215/65/15's will be too big for the front.

stub tech is owned by rod hadfield blacky so they the same thing

best way to lower your car but just becarefull with the rim diameter and offf set as it can hit the lower ball joint if not correct and you can also choose better brakes as well $900 is a lot they never used to be that much check ebay some times they go for around $600 or $700 but they don't last long as there is awaiting list for stub tech to make them so when they come up for sale any waiting will bid on them asap
