Hi guys
On the inside of the upper tailgate on the inside lower face (hope this makes sence) there are two 5mm holes approx 45mm apart, does anyone know what these are for? All of my other upper gates have these ass well.
regards EK DAZ.

Many thanks for your reply. The holes face into the cabin area and been
the door that closes first, they dont bump against any thing.I thought perhaps they were for an internal handle of some sort ? What-ever they are for, they were ideal for pouring the fish oil into .

The holes you are talking about are for a bump rubber to allow the upper tailgate to rest on the lower tailgate when the lower tailgate is in the up/closed position.
I wouldn't recommend you dive it like this or drop the top gate on to the bottom gate but if you place it softly it is OK. Well, at least it's not metal on metal!
The bump stop in a longish rubber about 2 to 2 1/2" long and has two tits that push into the the two holes you speak off.
