CRS V8 Front End

Post by BS »

Long shot here but wondering if anyone is running a CRS V8 front end with front mount torana rack and has a copy of the engineer reports that came with them when they made their purchase?

Any leads appreciated and yes I have already rang the rod shop but they didn't really help.

Cheers

Does your engineer want a copy? :econfused:
Surely if he could tell it was a CRS one that would be good enough????

Spoke to an engineer about my plans and he said sounds ok just submit your F1854 form to qld transport before you commence the build and spend any $$.

Qld transport vehicle standards and modification department have responded to the application saying it is incomplete and for the application to proceed they want to see the engineers certificates for the steering column, steering rack and front subframe...

I informened the engineer of their response and he said although it's not a show stopper it would be a smoother and quicker process if I had it.

Yep an depending on who you talk to within the department you get a different answer so can only go off what was put in writting.

As for building yourself it wouldn't be a problem that I could see. Would be up to the engineer to get it through. Just would have been easier if I had the paperwork.
