are there any auto experts out there. i have a trimatic with a cable kick down. the cable it not actually doing anything now. just cable tied up. i was wondering if apart from the kick down bit will this affect the running funtion of the gear box.

i've used them with the cable not connected with no issues other than the kick down function, which you can do with yor hand
