Hi there! Does anyone know the correct positioning
for a set of door pulls on an FB/EK.Front & Rear.
It doesnt bother me that some people think they look
like a tacked on after thought, each to their own.
But if im going to put them on,They need to be in the right spot.

Thanx-Stingray

Doorpulls?

Good point Smooth, I guess they could be drawer handles for all i know.
I aquired them on another EK wagon i bought which also had a radio,
sunvisor, scratch plates, heater & vents, which was the reason i bought
it in the first place, for those parts.
When i took the doorpulls off I noticed there were screw threads behind them,
if I'd only measured the dimensions of these threads I would'nt need to ask.
Anyhow on the under side of each door pull it says P.I.C.D002.
Thanks mate!

I'd agree the Wibrocs look the part,
but Im partial to chrome so am happy with the one's I have.
They all appear to be in roughly the same position.
Some fine example's there mate, much appreciated.

Hi Smooth,

minor correction - the last pic is actually my FB sedan. The towel on the seat gives it away.

Am happy to be mixed up with Matthew's FB wagon though - he is the other half of 'Team Kodiak'. 8)

So here's some food for thought,
not that it makes much difference :)
do you think one fitment point would be factory
and the other dealer /Nasco?
would the factory fastening vary from
the aftermarket? ie:factory-doors made especially
for this option.
aftermarket:drilled holes+self tappers.
Also any pic's of the rears?
which may/may not be a camera angle
used for nat's pic's?
from memory  dead centre of rear door
division channel.

Thank's All

For the love of Nasco

Here's some pic's I took at the Monaro Nat's 06 in S.A.

Seem's this gentleman has also been bitten by the nasco bug-hard
Thank's for your advice Sunny Tim
The FB/EK can inflict a few injuries to the uninitiated,
there's the knock over the head with the bonnet
a crack on the knee from the front/upper door jamb :?
and then there's the funnybone on the door pull to's :x
it's worth every ounce of pain,
wound's heal :D
