Hi guys, bout to start on the interior of the HQ! Kind of excited
Finally getting to spend money on it to get it to Shows soon! ( the rubber on the floor needs replacing etc, kick panels replaced etc)
The door cards are in really good condition, so I dont think they really need to be replaced, except they have some pretty grubby yuck marks on them!..Im thinking just go get a vinyl cleaner from SuperCheap or something and scrub the crap out of it, but then wondered that there is probably a really good way to get it all pretty clean that restorers would do etc...
Best product to use, or any little weird tips that you guys have had work well? Also, what NOT to do tips ? haha
Thinking when I get the rubber for the bottom to just hop on Ebay perhaps to buy it and glue it all in myself? Would that be the best place to get it?
Was also told to spray the bottom with Lanolin or Odorless Fish oil before I put the rubber down to help keep the rust away..and not to bother with the insulation underneath it as its just a water absorber and is a great way for rust to get in and eat your floor pan..Is that a good idea?
