I was out at Dinkum Autos this morning and found this



It has a star on both front doors


and the ID plate

and chassis number

I assume the star is from its time with the Snowy Mountains scheme??????
The van is VERY rusty

Anything can be saved Steve - how much do you want to spend ????

Anything can be saved, but this van is too far gone in my opinion - it has rust in places where rusty cars don't even have rust - check out the top of the front subframe in the 1st photo.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why would anyone buy the ID plate? Not knocking the idea, but just don't get it. Maybe it's like stamp collecting or something

Hi I chased Dinkums up,I am after a tailgte,but as good as it looks,its rotten inside bottom inch & a haf.Hell of a nice bloke though!

Why not collect ID plates? people collect all sorts of things. I don't have the room or the money to collect cars, but I like memorabilia and oddities that go with cars. I like matchboxes with Holdens on them, I lke coasters with Holdens on them and I like ID plates.
