I'll be sending my Special Badges off tomorrow to Shane. :)

The pic below shows the damage that was done screwing the badges onto the FB.
WTF! Why screw badges on with self tappers? :esurprised:
The boot badge was the worst, it just fell apart when I unscrewed it.
All have no pins

These are one's I brought from a wrecker a while back to replace them :)
when I found out the problems with the rares spares ones.
These have most pins.

Been sitting in this guys dad's wordrobe for 45 years!
Still like brand new and in it's GMH box.
I had to buy it, when's the next one's comming up for sale? :econfused:

Ok, we have to wait until late February to see how the Special Badges look like. 8)

MMMMMMMMM.................me! :esurprised:
Had two spare off a paddock wreck, polished them up, drilled holes in 'em and self tappered to the front sides of our vintage caravan to match the Wagon
They were missing all of their pins though, so not THAT guilty!

Can't wait to hear if this bloke can fix these old badges though as I have quite a few in the shed that could help out some forum members here :)

I just got back all my chrome (except for bumpers) from The Diecast Wizard and it's great.
Cost a bit but the service was great and I'm happy with the job done.
They also repair broken badges.
Apart from the place in Queenbeyan and Johnny Walker's Bumpers at Coffs Harbour (where I will be taking the bumpers), The Diecast Wizard was the only place with good recommendations that I came across.

Manda.

Looks fantastic. I wonder how they weld it. I had a go and ended up with a molten blob.

Life's so much easier when you shave your car and sell the badges. :econfused:
