My first car was the 2 door version of that, badged Anglia though.
It was a hand me down from my mum.

Shame isn't it, most of the country has perfect weather for convertables too,
But we missed out there aswell. :(

Here's a pic of the same Anglia I had, 100 E Anglia Deluxe.
To get into the rear, you tilted the whole front bucket forward.
The seats sat on a tube frame that only had saddles over the tubing under the front, and no locking mechinism at the back.
If you had a head-on they would probably eject you out through the windscreen. :esurprised:

If you want a hot motor for it, I have a 3Hp Briggs & Stratton that will give it a boost. Might need a chassis strengthening kit for it though :lol: :lol: :lol: :P

It seems you blokes forgot what Mini seats were like!!! same tilt forward with no locks..(great during heavy braking!!NOT!...unless you LIKE having your face pressed against the windscreen and a steering wheel separating your nads!!) :shock:
