Hey how's it going,
First of all, What a sensational web site....i think i'm going to enjoy being part of the FB EK website family you have got going here. Well where do i start..
I long time ago when i was 18, i asked my father " If you had the chance to do up a car, what would it be?" he replied " Probably an Fb or an EK."
So after a couple of years of researching what they were and what they looked like, i had fallen in love with the FB holden.
So the next three years i keeped an eye out for an FB, starting from the cheapest ones that need heaps of work to the ones that were drop dead stunning( that i couldn't afford).
Any way i found one,, so i bought it, and now i'm worried because i have had some negative response from family Members about the condition of the FB....
Any way.. over all the car is in ok condition, its one the road and drives fine.
The interior is in pretty good condition, there is a tear in the front seat drivers side.
Rust.... there is a little bit behind the back window in the usual spot, where the door rubber is at the front passenger side just behind where the window wraps around.
Front passenger side floor pan just a little bit of rust.
It's got a red six in it and runs fine.
That's about all i can think of.
So my next step, is it hard to cut out the rust and replace it with new metal in these sections?
How much would it sting me to get a panel beater to do it ?
I've got pics but don't have time to put them on the net just yet.
Any way,
Any advice would be much appriciated.
