!@#$ clutch... anyone know the part numbers?

Tried swapping over the reco crash box this week (car is Grey with crash box). I was supplied two clutches, both alegedly for Red (should be OK for bolt in for Grey and crashbox). 1st clutch was alegedly a Red, with "low clamping load suitable for a grey". Clutch was a Clutch Induistries (used to be PBR clutch) RPM121N pressure plate and R8591W plate. Once installed, the clutch refused to engage properly (crunching all gears) :x Double and triple checked that plate was facing right way.

Reco box back out, old clutch in, reco box back in - everything OK :D .

Anyone had any history with the Clutch Induistries RPM121N pressure plate and R8591W plate? I was also supplied a R66N pressure plate, supposed to also be Red but "higher clamping load" (didn't try this one... not enough patience by that stage!).

Cheers,
Harv

Interesting...

Standard grey motor/crash box is an R32 kit (supplier didn't offer that one),
Standard Red motor is an R66N kit (was offered that one but didn't try it),
Organic Red motor is 121N (the one that didn't fit),

Harv, mine's had a red motor clutch put in it a couple of years back, though I couldnt tell you exactly what the specs were.

Dr. Terry that posts here from time to time was the guy that did it, so he'd know the answer for sure.

Red motor should fit grey - the only difference is the diameter (red is 8.5", grey is 8"). Buggered if I know why that particular red clutch didn't fit.
