guys when it comes to the standard 3 speed manuals what is the difference between the different model cars should i stick with the fb standard box or is there a better model to upgrade to im planning on fitting a floor shift i have 2 one is a speco and the other is a impala they both have two rods with rectangular plates on the end im under the impression they should fit. i dont know how to post the pics so i will keep trying

I've herd the HG 3 speed boxes have sincro's in all gears, I know a bloke with one in his EK wagon he says it's great.

the syncro box if going behind a grey motor would be a bit of a hassle adaptors etc and probably floor hump issues i would look for a 3 speed crash box out of an EJ holden but you need everything box, bellhousing,clutch,slave cylinder and yor floor shift may not fit if it's for a grey box i'll be in sydney the next few days i'll send you a pm
