i have just gone to fit my visor to my newly painted car only to find it didn't fit. my son said the ute and panel vans have a bubble shaped roof. we then came to the conclusion that this is a ute or van one. i bought it of a guy who had a ute not thinking there was any differences . not once on ebay have i ever seen them sold as sedan or ute visors( external of course) are there differences between ute and sedans or is this off a fc or fe

Ute ones are the same as sedan and wagon AFAIK , the van ones are definately different - and harder to get - so you shouldnt have any trouble getting rid of it if thats what it is.

yeah i agree someone somewhere is looking for a van one. i was talking to my son about modifying it but i may just buy another one.thanks for the advise.

I was looking for one when I had my Van, but modified a sedan one to fit (at a slightly downward angle) I think you'll find that the stays are different and not the visor itself. The van stays have a kick up to follow the roof line.

feel a bit better today got my roof linig in last night so still moving forward, i'll worry about the visor later. thanks for the comments

Sat my visor on the other day, the brackets have a slight bow in the guts.. it'll bolt down but doesnt sit well, the buldge is only 10-15mm.. Could these brackets be off a van or are they just bad fitting?

If they are van, do you have any sedan brackets lying around Blacky?
