Well the truck broke down 6 times. The welder come so called engineer was sick, on holidays or just hasn't showed up for work. Sorry mate, just nothing we can do about that. Just some of the B/S i've listened to.
Well now i can begin and fix all the stuff ups in her (basically start from scratch).
The rear end has a welded in LH Torana floor pan with tubs.
Need to make front chassis rails to fit same front end and steering column.
Not sure on the motor size or colour yet. Still a very long way away from that.
(hopefully photo's turn out, never done this before)
Still looking for that LH 1/4 panel.

i like the roof chop but im not sure about whats been done in the tray!

Yeah the tubs are too small!!!

Cheers for the encouragement fella's. Most would say why bother, but must admit it was the cook who talked me into tackling this one.
Tubs will be discarded of. I agree there to small. Can only just fit a 265 under it. Hopefully with the new one's i'll get 315's or wider.
The rear will be covered over with polished timber, sides and base.
The way it was designed (by original owner) was the under chassis was lifted so it gives the lowered affect on standard suspension travel (channelled), but all hidden under a false floor which retains the original depth of the tray. All under chassis will have flat steel sheeting welded over original and painted same as top.
Will be doing suicide doors for something different also.
Will keep the photo's coming as i progress. She definetly not an overnight project.

Hey Choppedek look like you got the beginnings of one tuff ute there . looks like theres going to be two chopped tubbed ek utes roaming the streets of South Aus.
