Bush fires

Getting pretty nasty out there fellas, over 35 houses gone with more to come they reckon... Hope all is well Rossi and any others that live in the Kelmscott/Roleystone area :(

Standing on my roof today it looked crazy... Nath, if you got an aircon make sure you dont leave the fan on during the day.. Im sure we'd be safe out this way but you never know how far embers will travel with the easterlies blowing as hard as they are

News were saying it was started by an angle grinder :x and that at one stage it was moving at 500 metres in 30 seconds :shock: :shock:

Funny country, under water on one side and blazin on the other...

I dont think nature likes us very much.
Just got in contact with Rossi and him and his family are all safe but had to evacuate.

Yeah man its nuts... nah man we shut the a/c off...

was playing ball in the morning in Kelmy anyway, after the game sitting on the balcony with a few beers just watching it get bigger and bigger and having the bombers go over head was nuts... was just glowing last night

hope everyone is safe, good to hear about Rossi!

Yeah same, glad Rossi & his family are ok.
I was listening to the street names to see if I recognised any of them.

One of the ladies at work lost everything, poor girl.
She was working up north so didn't have a chance to save anything.
