Looks to be a warmaride of sorts and if I'm right it will bolt up over the vent hole. When the vents open the air flow runs over the core and instant heat.

i'll second that they work a treat another tip crack the windows a touch helps suck air through the vent
not sure if this is for yor modified car but this set up is usually not suitable for engineering they want fan forced vents to the window

Yep, these heaters have two settings - off and roast. Effective even in an EK with perished rubberware being driven in the depths of a NSW Southern Highland's winter (which is damn cold).

My old purple EK had one and they work way better than you'd think! As for demisting maybe look at computer type fans for in the tubes?

I've seen them used to cool amps before. Can't see why you couldn't set one up for demisting, size would be good. One per tube.

hi i have done a bit of work on boats and the computer type fan wont push through a tube very well
whitworths ( boatie type version of a speed shop ) have a 12v" snail " type fan that is just the ticket and cheap i think im using a 2 and a 5 ohm resistor from jaycar to controll the speeds
bang that in , engineer will be happy and yer auntie will have a new boyfriend....
