Seat Belts

Post by Davet »

so this is a pic of my ute as you can see the rear has been moved backward thus eliminating the parcel shelf,
this was done before i got the ute in order to fit bucket seats, if i wanted to install a bench seat and put a seatbelt int he middle with a shoulder thingy, or a child restraint how would i go about it
im not sure how this works but im throwing it out there to find out what the go is. i read all the QLD legislation stuff and it seems pretty clear but i might give them a ring to double check

No reason why you couldnt fab up some seatbelt mounts into the top of that divider panel , and mount the reel down near the floor somewhere ?
What guage steel has been used for that new panel ?
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
