Anyone going this year????
I see they are doing the beach party on the Friday night again in San Remo, so might go down for a captain cook. Was a good night last year, kicking back on the foreshore with an ale in hand.
Will try to get to at least one of the days at the Grand Prix circuit over the weekend. Was thinking of staying down there the night, but dont think I would get accom. this time of year, especially for that weekend, and if I did find something, I would have to re-morgage the house to pay for it. Must admit, Phillip Island isnt the cheapest place to stay over the holidays.

No shit!!! We're in the caravan park with our van and it aint cheap for three nights....

See ya there! I recommend getting down for atleast one day as cruising the track is awesome!

Well we booked a couple of nights in the main drag of Cowes, Fri. and Sat. nights.
If anyone is interested, the place is Banfields Motel and Conference centre. They will book for 2 nights and the cost was $175.00 per night. They still had a few rooms left. Ph 03 5952 2486
Theres a place we were going to stay which was $140.00 per night, which is the KoalaPark Resort which is half way between San Remo and Cowes on the main road. They have a fair few rooms left, alot with multiple bunks. The only reason we decided not to stay there is that they didnt have air con. Sounded like really nice and was very helpful. It gets bloody hot down there if the weathers right.
At least I can go down to the foreshore, have a few ales and just stagger back to the room.
Should be a great weekend, hopefully Cowes will be going off on the Sat night.

Hahahahahaha the koala park. I have blurred memories of that place. We stayed there ages ago and kind of drunk waaaay to much. The maze there is great fun at three in the morning.......
Oh yeah and the owners don't like you climbing the big wooden koala out front.

Will definitely be rollin down to the Island for this one, last years was pretty good... not sure what day i went but it was a bit tame, cars were nuts though!
Just got me EK on the road so if i take it with me it'll be its maiden voyage!

I only went to Friday nights beach party at San Remo last year, missed the rest of it.
Is any of the days better than the other????
Wouldnt mind getting into one of the pinstriping classes and give it a go.
