Brand new to the Scene.

Good afternoon. I chanced a glimpse of a Mystery Holden While picking up a bargain Fridge About 3 months ago. I couldn't help Saying what a great car i thought it was to the Second hand owner of the $25 monster fridge which proceeded to tell me that it belonged to his neighbor and it had been there for almost two years. What i would do to own a car like that i remember saying to myself.
Around about a month ago while looking on a Townsville For sale forum i read " 1960 FB Holden" and being a fan of the 60's personally i have a quick Squiz. As i glanced over the Advert i recognized something... It was that same car that i had seen that night i picked up my newly repainted fridge! As soon as i had viewed the ad i had called up the Owner to ask if he had sold the beauty that i was instantly so fond of those months ago and to my satisfaction it was still there and i was welcomed to an inspection.
Having a small idea about the in's and out's of a motor vehicle i went along the very next day to see it. I saw some Rust and i saw some tears but it couldn't deter me from loving it more and more. The owner informed me that it was going to cost me $2000 to take it off his hands. I would have paid there and then if i had given in but i decided to do some research before running into a potential project i could not handle.
I finally came to the decision yesterday that i didn't care what it took. I was going to Buy this car and be a proud owner of a 1960 FB Holden... And now i am. I am ready to give this girl countless hours of my time and as i expect quite a lot of $'s as well. I plan to do as much as possible myself and handing it over for the important stuff i cant do. But with that i may need some help and advice from the people that know these cars best... All of you! Ill make sure to post photos of my progress.
Hope to speak to some of you soon.
Sorry for the Wall of Text.
