Hey guys,

After mucking around with a bunch of crap FB radiators i noticed a HQ one at my local wrecker, A little modifying and it was in the FB.

I managed to use the bottom hose on the FB on the larger HQ bottom rad inlet using a unique combination of hot water and swear words, but i wondered what of the shelf hose might be suitable for the top hose?

Bend up a bit of fencing wire to the same shape/length as you need it to be. If you're up the Blue Mountains way, take the wire in to Autobarn Penrith and ask for Lindsay - he'll sort you out a hose (worked the same way for my Chev/EK).

Hi Gareth, have been trying tolog on since last saturday but could not remember my password. any how I fitted hq radiator in my FB 2 months ago & used HT/G top hose. Cut about 25mm off radiator end. hope this helps cheers wayne

I fitted a HK radiator and hoses and had to do the same to the top hose.

thanks guys, i ended up using a &*#@ one it was a tiny but wide and a tiny bit short, but good enough.

Ill pick up a HK one if ti gives me any grief

oh, i assume its the 6 cyl hose?

Yep, I bought my whole driveline straight out of a HK Monaro.
