will hr drum wheel cylinders fit ek

hi everyone,
i have got a hr drum front in my ek with a nissan 1 inch dual circuit master cylinder. will the hr drum rear wheel cylinders fit in the ek wheel cylinders position?

i would say 99% no but haveing never tried maybe they could (but really doubt it)
but if you have drums on the front i'm pretty sure they're the same size cylinders as the FB/EK
brings me to a question doesn't yor engineer want front disc brakes fitted

no worries, i just checked my manual and they are different (hr has a seperate adjuster and ek is built in.)
they have a different bore size too (ek is 1 1/16" and hr is 1")

I believe you need EH and up backing plates to use HR cylinders and or brakes on an early housing.
