Some of you guys might have heard about our
horror crash in
Steve's thread where our beautiful
1962 RV1 was written off by a thoughtless old bastard driving a late-model Mercedes, but our 18-month-old daughter walked away unscathed...
Well, we managed to find
another car - this time a white manual rather than a black auto - and brought it home on Sunday!
We're VERY happy.

We were insured with Shannons, but since it was completely the other driver's fault (and he was insured with RACV) we're going after them for compensation.
And yeah, we were VERY surprised to find one in such good nick come up for sale RIGHT when we needed oneQ

What a great car. The R series is a very collectable hard to find classic with a decent motor that will get up & boogie. They look cool.
These cars sold like hot cakes when new here.
An old boy drives a super clean white one out my way as his daily driver.
The American Coupe version I often saw whilst in california in 1989.
cheers
Paul

Nice clean Val you've got yourselves. Personally i'd do some custom work on the trademark spare wheel cover, but it's too nice to change
