what size brake line fittings

hi guys,
i am currently running new brakelines in my ek, what size fittings do i ask for? i know the internal size will be 3/16ths but whats the external?

Just take the old ones in with you - if you are going to a proper brake place they should know anyway but if you have the old ones it may save you a trip.

the old ones are long gone

thats why i'm asking (me being a dumbass cleaning out the shed thought "i don't need these, i'll just replace them"

Go to your brake place and if they are worth dealing with they will tell you, Trev

i asked the same question a while ago. i still have not done mine. i have established that the standard is 3/16" - if your using a booster , some suggest using 1/4" from your master to the booster to get better pressure. look back a few months you'll find more about this subject.
