Better late than never ...... The nats through Blackys eyes

I FINALLY got time to put up some pics
We left Perth early on Thursday morning via Qantas ..... 45 minutes late
- on our way to Adelaide where Thommo was picking us up from the airport. We got there - eventually - and were picked up in style in Thommos FB and were rapidly whisked around to Thommos joint to pick up the ute . BTW , this was the first time Thommo and I had met face to face - I sent him my ute a week previous without even knowing where he lived in Adelaide , he picked it up , washed it , threw a new set of plugs in it and parked it in his shed and we had never met !!!! How good is this forum and the people on it ???
We loaded up , fired up the mighty FB's and we were off - to meet the rest of the Adelaide mob who had been waiting very patiently in a carpark for the friggin' West Aussies to arrive....

after a quick carby adjustment we were off

Things were looking good for a great weekend -

We were putting a few miles behind us -

- but then the excreta hit the air movement device

the ute was carrying on like a second hand lawnmower and I wasnt happy that I was pi$$ing off all my new croweating friends and holding them up. We stopped at a friend of Camerons and threw a timing light and a big hammer at it and got into Mildura about 3 hours later than expected - but still had plenty of time to get on the soup and a good feed at the RSL - $6.20 for a schooner and a bourbon and lemonade !!!!! I think the nats should be in Mildura next year
