What a great weekend away meet up with lots of people.
On Monday morning we headed of to Tumut to spend the day with family sat in the shed and put away a few beers   Next morning we headed of to Forester to visit Richard's Mum. Spent the night and got up real early next morning to head back home to Brisbane. Checked the cars for oil and water and headed off, about 20 km into the drive the EK started to play up on me so so I had to go back into Granny mode of driving. We were 10 km out of Sydney and guess what someone ran out of petrol lucky we had a 20 lt can of petrol in the back. To cut a long story short we got to Grafton and the EK was very sick by then was hoping she would make it to Kempsey and she did. We left her with Lulu & Ro had a coffee and a chat and then it was time to go. I was very   leaving my EK but it had to be.

Everything was going well till about 10 km out of Brisbane Richard rang out of petrol, but we always carry a 20 lt can with us so we thought everything was going good but the FB would not start in the end Richard had to push her with Kate at the wheel we got her going after a lot of pushing and swearing  no one stopped to help. We were glad when we drove into the driveway at 5.30 pm. Jade had cooked us a roast chicken

HELLO TREV  I TYPED THIS REALLY SLOW SO YOU COULD UNDERSTAND IT

I'm imagining a tearful farewell to your poor EK. And here people were trying to convince me that those who said EKs broke down constantly were just being stupid!
As for the FB, so close and yet so far! I can't believe that nobody stopped to help you, what's happening with the world?

Hey Rebecca I was very sad to leave her there but it was for the best, we had a few people beep at us and some even yelling out of there car's.
I don't know what is happening in this world it is sad  no one cares.

Hey Stewart it was also good catching up with you to. Yes we had fun with the cars but that is what it is all about the drive and a story to tell at the end of the day. It was nice chatting to your Dad. PM sent
