Thanks for that. Ive got this time capsule car that has just come in. I cant believe this stuff is still out there and only 10 minutes from where I live (Blue mountains). This old guy went to redo all the brakes 25 years ago. He pulled it all apart and never got the brakes back together. I redid the brakes yesterday and am having trouble with the engine. It doesnt seem to be getting much oil to the top end. There is oil coming out of the pipe that feeds the rockers. I pulled the rocker gear off and cleaned them out. Is something else not right? Im hoping to get it registered next week

Im figuring the hole is there for a reason although I get what you mean about blocking it off (force more oil to the rocker shaft).
I dont have a book on these. How much wear is acceptable on the rocker bushes?

with rocker removed from shaft there should be oil grooves in bush in an X patern if bush feels smooth cant see any grooves it wont let oil out of hole in shaft
