Hello, I am in the process of installing new fuel and brake lines in an old F.B.I have a flaring tool and a hand held
bender, the bundy tube is in coils is there anyone with a clever way of straightening the tube? and any tips for young players to avoid trouble with this job.
Bye , Tricky Dicky.

I found it easy to lay out you lines on your car with wire first the copy it out of he car with the lines.
You do know you have to double flare your brake lines

Dick - firstly straighten by hand , cut to length plus a bit then clamp one end in a vice. Put the other end in a cordless drill and give it a quick flick as if you were trying to tighten a screw just a little. Should pull the bundy tube nice and straight.

Unroll it on a flat surface - like unrolling a fire hose & like Trev said you must use a double flaring tool
