yep, bet i dont get a flat this time, last year i got the flat from hell.

we are also travelling this year in two FC's, overnight from sydney taking a few stops at the usual roadside attraction, should take us about 13 hrs of sunset to sunrise coastal cruising.
unfortunately we wont be able to give the kids breakfast at big prawn this year as its closed down, also our regular stop in Kew at legends cafe i now bypassed and legends cafe might be closed.
if anyone else wants to cruise up with us we are leaving sydney tuesday the tuesday arvo to arrive wedensday morning.

still trying to decide whether to fly or drive

in my opinion a roadtrip up the coast is more fun than flying and you get to have your car at the other end.
there is less chance of a break down if you fly but if you do break down flying you are in shit.
if you are only going for 2 days though flying cuts out a bit of time.

Pete & I are 'road tripping' it up in my sedan this year..I'm looking forward to it..it'll be a nice warm winter change for me.

BUT this is the last year in the forseable future it'll be at coolangatta it's definately 100% moved to port macquary next year and i'm pretty sure i won't bother going there to cold

i love the idea of wintersun coming to port, obvious reasons
i notice on the ozrodders thread that most of the people doing the winging are from qld, don't they want to drive thier cars to an event but expect all the rest of us to drive ours up to them?
one thing port council will have to do by the time the event comes around is fix our f**king roads around here , or it will only be here once and noone will come back.
with wintersun being fairly central between sydney and brisbane will make it more accessable for people from the south to bring thier cars rather than fly up.
one word of advice, if you are coming and you want lock up accomodation for your car you'll have to book with flynns beach resort, rydges, or mecure. they're they only ones in port with secure lockup parking.

This'll depend on where Pete's dang-fangled sat-nav leads us, Jay.
I do know we'll be at Armidale on Thursday Night (I've got an alloy timing gear so I should make it ) and we'll be on our merry way to the boarder on Friday.
