Just saw your car out the front of a Bassendean panel shop laying a nice strip Rossi . Looks like guide coat has been rubbed back, so colour should not be far off. Its looking good

PS only joking about the strip, would hate for you to impound your own car

That aint so funny ,It happened to my mum in the past .
She left her trans-am at the local stereo instalers for them to fit an alarm and towards the arvo she got the call "We cant get it in today you will have to pick it up tomorrow"
About 7:30 that night ,her Trans-am nearly hits her doing around 100 in a 60 zone.
The following day there were a few things straightened out nicely

Just got off the phone to him, should be done in time for the Waroona Show on the 11th. Apparantely all going well, goes to actual colour coat in a couple of days. Restorer was a little peeved at the insurance co, they have cut him back a bit, but I'm throwing in a few bucks to make sure it comes back at least as good as it was. I've had him add a billet "Gary from Darwin EKV84US" style fuel filler, always hated the original and the opportunity was there to fix it. Also added a new rear boot rubber, new parcel shelf cover and on a doof doof note, new speakers across the rear shelf (6 of em, they were cactus, was wondering why the sound was getting worse!!!).

Will see it on Mon or Tues and take some more photo's.

Going to see the GP in Melbourne after that, which means Weber will have a mechanical problem or some other crap luck, but V8's are on as well as the Shannons vintage round with all the 60's and 70's stuff.

Been busy, missed cruises, something to do with keeping my gainful employment and earning coin.

Last cruise looked great, see how I go for the next. Sorry J, your last minute marketing infomerical phone call was not enough for me to take a sickie!!

OLSKULE's been back on the road for a couple of weeks, no drama's to report. Gave her a service and quick detail, and it's back to normal.

Phil at B-Restored did the job and I cannot praise him enough (no, he's not related or a mate etc). Basically after the crash he was one of about 6 places I rang up, of which only two sounded genuinely interested (he had an ad in the Motorvation paper, which I was driving back from when the crash happened). I visited both and Phil easily came out on top and we got talking. Old school techniques and service, would highly recommend him to all of you and your mates. The results speak for themselves.

She came close to an insurance company write off (still would have fixed her myself anyway), but with a bit of extra coin and a few extra small fix ups, she's lookin' pretty good.

Photo's were taken just after I got it back, first time in front of the computer for a while (I leave and the whole site changes!!)

Had a spare set of front parker/blinker lens, so did a custom 59 Caddy addition as well while I was waiting, initally didn't like it, but now they've grown on me. The originals can go back on if I change my mind.

Good to see her back on the road... i'll keep my eyes out around Gossy when i go down to HJ's or the bowling cub for those 1972 prices and a lazy sunday... and try and look to the back of the compound up the road !
