I reckon,
Just did my 1 hr drive home from work with her and she drove surprisingly well. (the truck depot was near work)

I should have her out for the Classic Car Show at Whiteman Park, and any impromptu cruises that fit in with kart prep & racing.

A nice day in Perth today so I took her for & spin and took a few pic's.
I still need to give her a good detail though.

I've learn't a bit more about her now too.
Original colour was Parisian Lilac.
It was changed to some type of white quite a while ago.
Looks like it recently had the flash added with a lick of grey.
She has been well cared for & maintained for a while now & will continue that tradition.

Oh, and the original radio works a treat too.

Nice, but what's the go with the speedo?

Ah yes, the speedo has one of the mph to kmh conversion stickers on it.
Will probably remove it as the speedo is out anyway due to a tall diff ratio.

I know there are different speedo cable cogs for the aussie 4 speed box to allow for different diff ratios & wheel diameters.
Are there any for the old 3 spd box?

Very nice, look forward to seeing it around. Have a spare light switch knob and shaft if you need it.

 3.89 ratio diff was used across all the grey powered cars so there wasn't a need for a factory variation to driven gear speedo drives to compensate for a diff ratio change to keep the indicated MPH true, so unfortunately there is only the one driven gear for the speedo.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Thanks for the offer Ben but I got boxes of stuff with it.
One of the items was a light switch knob and shaft.
Although I thing the reostat?? might be on the way out as the dash lights flicker a when I turn the knob.

There is plenty for me to tinker with in between working on the karts so like most middle aged blokes, my shed is my home

Hi there AISAT in Welshpool used to do ratio boxes that you could change gears in to get the speedo reading correctly. Might be worth a try. Car looks great. Regards Steve.

Yippee!!! She's finally legal in WA now.
Took 3 goes (& a week of grease & sweat) to get her over pits.
But at least it all done.

Now for the custom plates.
The buggers here have changed the rules with regards to including the model of the car in the plate.
Effectively making it impossible to get.
Dunno why, possibly something to do with auctioning off plates in the past or in the future.
I put my application in & will wait & see if it's rejected.

PS
I hope I've mounted the plate correctly.
