pictures of (standard) ek holdens make me feel a little excited.
the coupe you are building does a lot more as I personally feel they are a much better car in
modified form,as are most, that old holden looks really nice

I like the bumper bar aswell , maybe just maybe its the same profile and will do a smooth centre ,Im ticking over big time.
The front screen looks the same and layed forward to loose the raised cowl section .
The designers back them must of loved their work ,I would

Nup , its coming out for all the right reasons ,400 chev and if I can find a 6 speed at a price I can accept. otherwise powerglide
The laws on chassis swaps changed recently but didnt affect post 48 modifieds but it bothers me that pollies are paying too much attention to us , so before they kill my mods ie roof chop with body swap Im going to rego it .
The push was needing a trailer which would inhibit the cost of the trailer + rego + blue slip + $48 a load at the tip + maintenence ,tyres etc OR get me old ute out

Hardly a comparisom and Im realy looking forward to getting back in it.
The only changes visually will be some centrelines - yep Auto drags , real old school tuff

14/6 and 15/7s ,the paints as rough as guts so its staying unless they make me paint it for asthetics ,then maybe dark blue with longer flames . straight out of the early eighties

Book me in to do the flames Harko...I love to do 'em on something bigger that bloody Harley tanks..(seems that's all I've flamed for the last 15 years!!

) if you don't count the Speedway hot rod thingy.
Scotty.
