looking good RB, and by the sound of it you've just about got all the parts you need.
i like the look of the primer/guidecoat FB flash

and different. i know your not leaving it like that but you could and i don't think it would look wrong.
cheers, luke.

doesn't seem to bad for a $50 ebay motor that was locked solid when i bought it, figured it was worth $50 for the engine No and EH sump & pickup, pulled the head (wish i had a pic of what the inside of No 5 bore looked like

) but chipped the rust away give it a clean with emery cloth soaked it in old sump oil give the piston a little perswasion to move with a mallet, got it winding over by hand put the head back on and started it on the ground that was abot 9 months ago, stuck it in this car hooked everything up turn the key as soon as it got fuel up it fired and sat there and purred like a kitten 40psi oil preasure revving and a little under 20psi at idle next test will be how it pulls the car

What a beast!
(I am talking about the engine

)
Sounds very healthy indeed.
With all of your FB/EK experience, how long does it take you do pull a red motor and whack in another>?
