Door trims....? Oh yes, it has just occoured to me that we will need to modify around the new bit to add a ridge so the trim can sit behind ( as per the rest of the door). Job in progress.

I was going to re skin the doors, but I have found out that RareSpares skins are not available for FB-EK??, so I have got myself a reasonable door that I will have to scalp and use the skin on the modified door, I wish I knew that before we started.

Oh yes, I will have to add a bit of length to it's penis as well

there is other guys that do skins they usually advertise on ebay although mick jagger from here wasn't happy with the fit of some rears he got, you'de think fronts would be hard to get wrong though not having the wheel arch

August update. Re-skining the doors were done, since the front doors were already modified with the chop, I had to get good second hand doors and "scalp" them. Not an easy job, but managed to get the LHF door finished this way. RHF door needed a 1/2 skin, I couldn't find one to fit, so I made my own, it came up OK I think.

Also looking at ways to mount our Malloo radiator, we have a VZ frame welded to the Chrysler chassis, and figuring out the FB gravel pan. We will have an expanded metal grill under the bumper for the radiator protection. Also looking at adding roll pan to blend it in a bit...

I appreciate it all looks very different to what your used to, but when you shut the bonnet, it will look FB.

I cant believe its been a whole years gone bye, just though I'd add something just in case you're thinking we have packed up shop. Its a slow process but we will get there... here we have made a fiberglass air dam mold and modified the bumper's amongst other things.



These Pesky bumpers are too much trouble to be attached to the front and rear of the car where they can get damaged. Its been quite a process beating them into shape then welding them together into a single piece, now done, its off to get chromed.. anyone have ideas on a good outfit in Melbourne?? Cheers.

What are you planning for around the rear of the bonnet to screen , Kinda similar to camaro's how theres a large area that hides the wipers and the screen is blacked out that low , but I think from memmory which is fading ,the dash runs up level with the bonnet top so vision isnt impaired
