Yeah they're fading fast Tim. Lithgow is high on the list. I still have to get the rear cargo area trimmed and a few other things done before its completely ready for the trip. Will do re the plates.

Good on you stew
seems a bit of a shame to not have full rego on the old timer though mate after all the work you have done
i reckon that historic rego will only last a year if that mate

you will want to drive it all the time after its first outing

Fantastic news Stewart.
You'll be surprised how all those late nights building her, will quickly fade from memory after you been driving her for a while.

Awesome work.
I've just reread the last 20 pages, and learn a lot in the process.
Best of luck for tomorrow.
The first road drive will be amazing......

This has been a great build with all the photos to show what you've done I'm sure it has been a help to many people that needed help with there own build to check how you went about it.
Enjoy

Well done Stewart. Can't wait to see it sporting plates, definitely been a long hard road but the end result is magnificent.

Hey Stewart,
I am a silent admirer but I can't resist making a comment, especially on the endurance side of things.
The hurdles of work , money , time and family go hand in hand when building things and really its the commitment and focus that keeps it all going.
Well done mate and I look forward to seeing it the flesh one day.
Regards Greg

don't bring it to me

you'll hate the drive home on the cut down bump stops

but we can tell them that is why it's coming or been
actually looking at it sitting on the trailer the ride height looks pretty good for a family car looks lowish but still should have a reasonable ride

Great job Stewart.
Thats ended up a real good old car. Mick is right in saying that the ride height looks a bit cool, sitting on the trailer, but soon, NO MORE TRAILERS!
