Getting away from modded ones, parked next to the Grima EK 327 at the recent Berrima show was the restored Cameo EK also owned by one of the Grima's.(AUST)Mod wrote:Well Ok, equal top with that Grima EK with the plates EKI 327?
This is what you call a no expense spared resto. Absolutely nothing more could be done to this car to make it better.
Apologies for going off topic a bit

Cheers for the post guys!!!
I built it to my spec's and I am happy with the result ('specially after driving it out of the shed and onto the trailer today
). Everyone has different taste and this is mine to share with you all and it wont worry me if you like it or not, I just want to go to the Nationals and meet as many FB/EK owners as possible and sink a few bourbons and beers over some idea sharing and probably some bullshit thrown in for good measure!!
I look forward to checking out all the FB/EK's at the Nationals and meeting the people that own them, as Jason (Spyder) would agree, we don't have the luxury of having some many FB/EK's in Darwin (Maybe we can change that
)
Anyway, my heart rate peaked today, after a 2am finish last night followed by a 5am start this morning (yes 3 hours later) we finally fired the Beast up and selected the gears ('cause we finally had brakes to stop it from moving
). All went well, all gears selected and I managed to get it out of the shed and on the Car trailer without scratching it, BONUS
The car went in to get the front and rear screens fitted, here are some pics when she got back home.
