So for the record what has been done to that head. Can I see double valve springs and bigger valves?

Stephen
Hi Stephen.
Not 100% sure what’s has exactly been done but it’s a HSD head so they go over from top to bottom.

What I do know is.
Hot tanked and crack tested
Modern valve stem seals
New springs, retainers and big valves
Ported to their own specs
Decked to hell, definitely no thumb print to be seen

Should be a good head for the combo I’m building

👍 can’t wait to see it come together

Just having a potter about the shed and thought I’d have a look at the wagons rear deck covering the spare wheel.

I will buy some new marine ply and fit it all up.

However I am short one of the steel ‘runners’ which screws to the deck which are unique to the 219 STD wagon. I have a special wagon out the front and the deck in that is covered in vinyl.

Would anyone have a ‘runner’ the are prepared to part with?
480 mms is the length I need.
Happy to pay.

looks like a previous owner was being creative, so i think youve not accounted for that.

they should all be the same size on each board - i think the short ones on the small board are for the tailgate

Ahh cheers for the info, I have had another look and I think the smaller deck is correct for the runners as per the photo and yes I did get mixed up for which runner I need for the larger deck.

I actually need 1 of the lager runners at 530 mm long.

Mick if your interior light is complete just leave it complete mate, no need to strip a small part out and then be holding a light that don’t work.
you can have the whole lot if you want it just send postal address

I relieved a gift in the post from Mick in Coffs Harbour in the form of an interior light.

Thanks Mick!

So I finally got around to looking at it today at it a nice complete unit which has the little fork and spring so it all works.
Went to remove the bulb and the thin Bakelite pice broke so it looks like it be making 1 out of the 2

Micks spring an fork will go into my original unit

Nice complete interior light.

It’s funny how the smallest parts are the ones that sometime bring you undone!

Drew,

How much of a hurry are you in? I have a few Lucas headlight bodies.

And also, for things like this, Anthony Pearson (the Classic Bulbs guy) is worth getting in touch with.
