Harko,
I haven't met you but watched your build and it is already unique. I have had the pleasure of meeting your old man and seen his builds and can see where you get it from (he is louvering my FJ Van bonnet when we pull our finger out of our backside and take it the 5 ks to his place from where it is).
What I am saying although 2 builds may look similar and the same - are any 2 builds really the same. I'm sure you would do things differently compared to the next man etc.
As long as you are happy with your car, I would be thinking who gives a rat...
Cheers
Jason

Would you have been in Oak Flats the other day , if so you drove straight past the house , and I basked in the sound of the grey.
Sorry for hijacking Gary
Lets get back to Gazz build and why he hasnt started yet

OK OK .....I'll enter into this 'discussion'...as it seems like I am the bloke with the 'can opener' here....
Here's how I see it....
1: the whole idea of the Buick Flash was an idea that was bought up on the January 2010 edition of Street Machine(the one with Mez's EK) in the Expression Session on Victor Bray's Buick wagon..after reading the magazine I thought..hmmm..I wonder what MY EK would look like with a Buick Flash instead of the one I has??? So I photoshopped it on MY CAR. I do this with a lot of paint ideas WAY BEFORE I actually get out the airbrush & spray gun.
Here is the original photoshopped version I did ....(before Harko's artwork)

...the blotchy green is to represent green lace...
after doing this I shelved the idea for later and more refining..I did like it and thought the shape works well with an EK.
2: Not long after I was cruising the forum and saw some paint ideas on Harko's coupe and thought I'd send one with a Buick two tone flash. Harko you liked the idea & I thought it worked well on the coupe.
3: Later Garry PM'ed me and asked if I'd do an artwork of a ute using Blue & 'another colour in the flash (I chose and off white/cream colour.
This I though ALSO worked well on the ute for different reasons as the rear guard 'swiege' is the perfect shape for the rear 'kick' in the flash.
The fact is these car's of ours lend themselves well to this Buick flash-line in my opinion and it differs to the regular flask kits available on this model.
As for my EK...I'm going back to the original (all be it airbrushed) flash that Pete (Space ace) got me to paint on it in 2005.. but this time with a slightly 'swoopier' kick and Gold flake as well.
In the long run I do artworks as a suggestion for you blokes.. NOT TO START A WAR.....OK!
Scotty.
