This looks Great Jay...wish we had the time to pop in on the way back from QLD..but Pete had to get back for work the next day, I would have loved to see it in the flesh...great paint job!

Hi
2 weeks before the nationals at sawtell i decide to repair the front gaurds on the ek sedan
and ended up repainting the whole car all was good i thought so 2 days before the nats
i started to rub down and compound the car only to find that every panel was covered in
white paint bloom
so after a day of buffing i got most of it out but there was still some on each panel
after some advice from Scotty (SPUTZWAGON) after the nats i rubbed it back with some 800 wet
and gave it a good buff with some good quality compound polish and ended up with some good results thanks Scotty

ive taken some pics with the Macro setting on the camera so you can see the different colors
in the metalic paint im happy with the way the paint landed on the panels its standing up like
good metalic paint should and doesnt look flat anyawy lesson learnt dont paint when its to cold

Not normally a fan of metalic paint on old cars, but have always loved this one.

Well done Jay...had a feeling it should come up nice once you gave it a bit more elbow grease, that plus letting the weather warm up to a more reasonable temperature.
