i have sent some pics to ek61 so he can put some on but not much has happened. roof is straight and primed and engine runs.
it has been put away for now as selling the house and the shed has to be
clean.

hi, love the colour and the progress is coming along fine, can't rush beauty....thats why it one takes me 5 mins to get ready to go out, but my other half takes 4 hours. sorry to be nosey but what holley are you running? i'm thinking of a holley for a 186 but not sure on what size. again...... awesome colour, just dont forget your sunnies

Thanks dave. Matches it is a 465 holley vac some would say a little big but i don't like the look of the 350 and the first 2 throats of a 465 are smaller its only when you put your foot down the others open. i did do something today i changed the brake peddle over to auto. hay any one no why my heater hose hole is where it is when most are more under the wiper motor

no idea on the heater hose location but i have seen it on other cars the same???

That heater hose hole in the firewall is interesting.
My FB doesn't have the pressed rib around the hole,
it only had the oval hole for the hose grommet, the
firewall is flat in that area.
I thought they would all be the same.

Thats interesting to know Tim,that the heater hose to firewall grommet position is an indicator of an early body apart from body plate numbers.I'll put that one in the memory bank.
