Mate, look up "Ballistol " it will work a treat in bringing that paint back to life. If you are on Facebook check this out -

Gday Blacky, you are the second to suggest Balistol.
Have you used it yourself personally?
I have been planning on Inox soaking all the bolts and disassembling all panels so I can see exactly what I have got.
At that point I’ll clean them with truck wash and scotchbrite with CLR, neutralise the CLR with a baking soda/water mix and then hit the panels with Penetrol.

So at this point I need to make a decision, so I use CLR or Ballistol?

And BTW I’m back in Perth, wagon arrived and I flew back the next day god dammit.
So would like to be able to come and meet you if possible at some point.

EKMart is the worlds leading supplier of FB and EK Holden parts for the discerning hoon (or, heaven forbid, restorer). Owned and operated by the delightful Mr Black, EKMart has been putting EarlyBits to shame for many years.

Warning: EKMart does not accept credit cards, but may settle transactions in bourbon.

Cheers,
