Cheers,

John
Thanks

it's just lace material layed down and sprayed over with a normal spray gun, the edging i'm sure would be better with an airbrush but i don't have one so just a normal gun
first time i've done lace so not hard to do

Good on you for having a go Mick. The result is bloody good. I like the effect.

I just hope your gran is okay with blue doyleys on the sacred lounge suite now. 8) 8)

Mick,

Pardon the pun but you've buckled and got some decent looking wheels on it !

Looks way better now.

23 years ago when we built this car on it's first major drive to Canberra for summernats i said the grey is going (never have liked them but thought it would be cool) well someone bought the car as soon as i was home from summernats so the engine never got changed, had the car back now near on exactly 2 years and while i have been reasonably happy with the performance of the grey it's just not a red, well that's all about to change

You know Mick if that thing had side windows I reckon it would be gone from your possession, sold I mean.

People and security, quite stupid really when you think about it, I went fishing once in Sydney Georges river, Lugarno to be exact and
accidently left my keys in the ignition of my Nissan Patrol in the excitement. Came back nearly 9 hours later and bloody hell car still there and keys still where I left them !!

Would it take much to put windows in ????

probably not if i thought about it but i don't really think about it, it's probably good that it stops people buying it as i'de only want another old car and the prices of them are ridiculous

only had a couple of short drives (needs a wheel align badly) BUT i remember why i put reds in them   what a difference (and the old grey was the most impressive one i have ever driven) nice smooth power from the hit of the throttle, not sure why everybody raves about rear racks though it's better than the box but give me a front rack any day way more direct and no clue why people that have this type of rack still want power steer my 5 year old granddaughter could steer this thing one handed
