Yes Matty,
the impression I got from Tuesday's meeting was that the escutcheon bezels are likely to come on line first.............. will post up when news surfaces...........

We're all in eager mode.................. nothing we can do I'm afraid....... it's in Rare's court..........

frats,

I spoke to Rares this week and they said the escutcheons are not too far away, they are being produced off shore and at this stage they are like us, still waiting and thank us for being patient.
We are waiting for a full colour EK bonnet badge also.
The prototype sedan number plate lenses are in the process of manufacture and as you can appreciate, the complex make up of these units requires a bit of technical work.
We have all waited a long time for these products, so please bare with us while we negotiate their manufacture.

I have looked at the next stage of the bonnet insert, the colour and chrome work is spot on when compared to a nos badge so we are very happy with this part.
The only problem that we could detect was that the lion emblem had lost some of it's definition when compared to the first sample. Maybe they took a bit too much off when polishing the die. So it has been sent back so this can be rectified.
As you will all be aware, this badge has to be spot on so we want to get it right so it looks as per origional.
Just a bit longer to wait guys, but it will be worth it.
