Thanks for the info on the filters - they really suit the SU's, and reckon that would look good sitting in some Strommies too.

Looking forward to seeing how the tyres turn out!

May be a stupid question but is there room for the battery under the bonnet with the triple carbs?

No stupid questions D-Man, no there wasn't room for the battery so it's now tucked away in the boot.

Ah cheers D-Man thanks heaps, nah can't imagine selling it, especially when i haven't finished it yet :lol:

Shed, yeah i will be posting pic's of the white walls soon, buying some tyres within next two weeks so expect pics soon (i bought enough to paint 50 tyres..was a bargain, so why not :wink: )

I just put in the door cards on the weekend too so pics of that finished shortly

Eventual plan is the dark purple (or perhaps a lighter tone), and the cream like the roof, with black piping... But right now, it's original grey tones
