Here r some more shots of the scoop

As u can see I didn't like the look of the fins on top off the scoop so I got rid of them
The plain is to mould it into the bonnet and paint orange just living a polished alloy lip at the front
Wont happen for a while yet as I will be cleaning up a few bits round body and paint at the same time
So I am pleased with the way it has turned out so far it only sits 30mm above the bonnet at the front and slopes down at the rear
I also left the bottom of the scoop on at the front as I am thinking about plumbing some cold air in as well

Mate the old girl is running running heaps better .
I changed the diff gears from 4.6 down 3.5 about the same time as I did the carb swap so as you could imagine she is a total different beast to drive,In saying that I took 1 off my good mates for a drive just the other day ( that had been in the car before )and give her a bit of a boot full and we both said NOW AINT THAT BETTER.Still mucking round with the carb trying to get the chock sorted but all in all I must sayvey happy, But dont believe anything that says out of the box bolt on and go hahhahahahah come in sucker

well seams like no one wants to make custom bonnet hinges, so I went and bought one of those hot rod seven double diafram boosters and i am in the middle of modifying the brake peddle and drilling and die grinding and making spacers.
Oh the fun of it all
Have been taking plenty of pics and will post more when finished.
As the previous owner said ITS TIME TO GET RID OF THIS SHIT

I mounted my booster on the firewall and modified the hinge to go around it - I cut the back bit off that runs to the firewall and turned it 90 degrees so it bolted to the inner guard just in front of the booster.
