Your continuing saga has given "Old Timer" a real aura of a Legend, risen from the brink of ruination, only to come back, better, after a supreme effort from quite a lot of good people. Your old wagon will always be fondly regarded by the folks on this forum who have keenly followed this story from day one. Tony.
Hi Tony
Many thanks for that. I definitely wouldn't be where I am now without the help of some key people. It's been a long and hard slog and I can't wait to finish. If I really knew what I was getting myself into 5 years ago I probably would never have started. I was pretty green. Sill am I guess but I have learnt heaps which was one of my goals. Theres not an inch of the EK I don't know.
Crikey 'legend' status...

let me get a few miles under my belt first...
regards
Stewart

A few more from the last few weeks...
This traingular piece of stainless trim is just for the wagons...it was a real pain. I thought the 'tabs' went inside the gutter...whilst visitng Wayne I had a chance discovery of seeing his wagon and a realised that the 'tabs' hook over the gutter. Much easier to fit that way.
had to clean up the gutter trims
I copied the original speaker bracket and managed to squeeze in 2 speakers...stereo!

Clips. Sometimes you have to re-use them.
Clean them up with a wire brush
Soak them
ready for prime and paint

I broke a cardinal rule - never throw anything out until your finished. So when it came to getting new fuel and brake lines I had to borrow a set from Wayne. Thanks mate.

Dr Terry used them as a template to make me up a new set which I picked up today.
