Thanks Clay,
I've had the dreaded door fall off and bend the bottom corner scenario !!! Only once and never again.

Looks a great result, Greg...
Clay, this is why we use guide coat - there is not one ripple in that panel that I can see..
On the matter of dropping doors - yep, done that..... rear left. Color coats on, was blocking the final coat down with the door sitting on a large square panel of wood.. it was on top of a bench stool...... bumped it and the lot fell to the concrete floor.
Upper right corner of the window frame bent over at 90 deg, huge dent in the door main body........ back to the panel shop... took another two weeks to recover to where that panel was........ no more panels of wood or bench stools.... I do panels on the floor now, on soft blankets... or - fitted to the vehicle...
As for reducer... with the little bit of experience I now have with spraying 2K (boat)... I altered the ratio of reducer (which is similar to thinners in an arylic system) according to temperature and humidity.... lower temperature - less reducer... that worked for me with both the 2K primer and also 2K top coats.... I used exactly the recommended mix of hardener.
frats,
Rosco

5th favourite car the Munro !!!!!
Sandblasted and painted all the bits and pieces I have left apart from the panels, getting there finally.

I've had 3 EK's and none of them had the front guard bracing as in the last two pictures, has anyone got a photo of where they go please.
Regards Greg

They go from the top bonnet catch cross bar outer end bolt through inner guard, angling down at about 60 degrees and out to the bumper outer rear nut bolt through bottom front of guard. You must have had the lightened racing body cars. 8)8)8)

Not likely!
It was auto correct. I typed Rosco, it changed it to forget. Auto Correct is the worst and best of things...
