Crate motor it is.... If the engineer would allow it, I'd be putting one of those lsx big blocks in the thing!
Got a '53 F-Truck in the shop with an LS7/box etc fitted.
Awesome engine...550 horsepower, 6 speed box, Injected, Dry Sump....all from factory AND with a factory warranty    :D
I'd go that way if ya wallet is fat enough and the engineer is dating your sister
Can't go wrong with a FACTORY crate engine.......dunno about most of the other crap in boxes coming out of Mexico though

I've been pretty slack with up-dates. But here are a few. The diff is pretty much done, just need to weld a few small shocker brackets on and it'll be ready for paint & assembly. Also spent a few hundred years on the rear floor - It's coming up pretty rad ..

Also, If anyone knows of a fuel tank that's approx 850 wide 550 long and 160mm, deep let me know - I don't want to make one. 68 chev tanks are almost perfect but just a little wide.

Another engineering marvel!! Love the work to the rear floor so it can be dropped into the weeds.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers guys.

It probably will man, yeah. They're a bit of an odd shape for what I want though and might look a bit fugly. I think I'll go with a 68/9 camaro tank and chop it down.

I/we can mick, yeah. But I want a factory looking, press formed tank. Don't have the equipment to make something similar without stuffin around for ages. It'd be quicker to buy something close and chop it up. I like chopping new things up.

What about a race fuel cell ? You can get them in lots of sizes, the fittings are nice and clean looking as well as being light weight.
