Looks like we won’t be using Neil’s Ute to go through the bottlo at the 2022 Nats to collect Harv’s VB cartons!

I reckon you are right Stephen. Clay can be in charge of supplies given he has local knowledge.

Just about ready to close in cabin wall. Slightly different arrangement to the General's original thoughts but should do the job. Some tidy up needed of the lower half panel then fastened with plug welds and seam sealer to stop the rot. Getting there, but ever so slowly....

They will be searching the Mexicans at the border to make sure they don't try and bring any VB across. We got standards...

Hi Brett. I cut in a sheet of 12mm ply then painted over everything with a couple of coats of Crommelin Water Based Waterproofing Compound. Patrick

It wasn't easy at all Clay. It took 3 days to get it sorted. Lots of metal bending and plug welds. Concours not. Glad to have it behind me.

Sound deadener to go on under the floor and then off the rotisserie. Much happier working with the car on the cradle.

You might consider painting the roof before you take if off.

No way. Much easier to paint roof on flat. That way gravity is with you, not against you as you paint. Little baby ute roof is no effort😄

Body now back on the cradle as the floor and underfloor coatings are now finished.

The last couple of days spent getting booster fitment sorted. Modified firewall to make it flat where the booster sits and added a section to the pedal box to keep the alignment with the brake pedal right and hopefully make it as strong as needed.
Seat mounts next on agenda.
