Brett,

There are a couple of approaches. One is to rat an old metal Utilux fuse holder for the short piece. The other is to break an instrument lamp, dig the glass out, and re-use the base. Solder the centre conductor of the coax to the inner terminal, and solder the braid to the metal body. just check that an instrument lamp is the right size to fit the radio's antenna socket first.

Wooses (is that how it's spelled?)
Can I come too Patrick๐Ÿ™‚?
Actually I think my thermometer is broken. Probably wasn't as bad as that, but the melting ice on the tin is a pain as it drips on you....

Thanks Clay- looking forward to putting the door cards on for the full effect. Kate and I had a sit on it at lunch time. For me its been 55 years since I've sat in an FB๐Ÿ˜€. Kate has never sat in one.

Another question. These two bailey channel fittings came off front doors. Which one goes on which door and which way is up? The holes allow them to fit either door and either way.ImageImage

Brett,

Is Wilma an early FB? The longer inner bailey channel is (guessing) a leftover from FE-FC production.

Went downstairs to check "Found Object"'s front doors. The longer end is at the bottom.
